Fast Paced- Fast Food (Chap 2)

In the American society the average person can only stay focused for 24 minutes at a time. Because of this our culture has turned into a very fast paced world and everyone is on the move. A direct result of this speed is that people are going and grabbing that quick bite to eat from fast food restaurants like McDonalds. In the USA alone, there are more than 13,000 McDonalds. On Manhattan, there are 11 separate locations, some only a matter of blocks apart. This fact makes the high calorie, fattening food that millions of people secretly love to gorge on a readily available food choice. Many locations staying open 24hours is also adding to the choice that many people take into consideration when they are going out for their late night meal. So the fast pace that many people are living in today is effecting the choice in food that they are choosing for their daily meals.

What's up guys, my name is Chris.

Many of you are probably wondering why I am here and what interestes me. Well to tell you the truth, I don't 100% know what I want out of this class or what I want out of this semester, other than a good GPA of course. I am taking this class as part of my English major and to take yet another class with Donna Souder.

A little about myself. I am a sophomore here at CSU-P and I am loving most every minute of it. I am an RA in Belmont Hall and have one of the coolest floors there. I love hanging out with all of my friends/residents and beiong crazy. I am a crazy kid that is willing to try everything once as long as I knoiw I will have fun with it. I live everyday to the fullest, but I never look into the past cuz each moment is the perfect time to make a new decision.
